Beer Here!

We kicked off our Seasonal Beer program at Forno Bistro last month.  We wanted to create an opportunity for you to try some of the diverse seasonal brews that many of our distributors offer throughout the year.  Our beer list features a seasonal bottle selection and seasonal draft selection and has seen great success so far.

We’ll be featuring some incredible craft brews, both on draft (yes, it is available for Pizza E Birra!) and in bottles. And until April 1st, all of our draft selections will be exclusively chosen from the delicious catalog of beers brewed by Goose Island Brewing Company from Chicago, Illinois.

We are currently featuring the Goose Island Mild Winter on draft. This beer is an American mild ale that is brewed with Willamette hops, dark chocolate, roasted barley and rye flake malts.  It is roasted to a rich toffee color and has a medium body and creamy head. The rich raisin and rye flavors come right through. We would pair this beer with our Calabrese Pizza or Stufato di Carne.

Our seasonal bottle selection is one of the reasons we look forward to winter every year. Winter’s Bourbon Cask Ale, brewed by Michelob Brewing Company since 2005. It’s a unique ale; brewed and aged in used bourbon casks with Madagascar vanilla beans.  It has a very smooth, drinkable finish; you can’t have just one! We would pair this beer with our Gnocci alla Pecorara or the Margherita Pizza.
