David Zecchini could barely reach the gas pedal the first time he jumped behind the wheel of a sports car.
He was not yet 12 years old when he snatched the keys to his grandfather’s Fiat, smacking into four parked cars during a joy ride that ended with him crashing into a ditch in Rome, Italy, where he grew up.

He also owns three sports cars–a Ferrari, a Porsche and the silver 2005 Lotus he bought last month.
